About R. A. Wright Editing
R. A. Wright Editing was founded in 2021 during a career change from social services. I have an eye for detail when it comes to continuity errors, positional issues, and possible gaps in the reader’s knowledge, as well as errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and my favourite, formatting. My attentive and knowledgeable editing style helps me deliver the most readable version of your book without compromising your authorial voice.
All my work is completed judgement-free, and I pride myself on ensuring that every scene is delivered with the emotion intended. I also aim to ensure that potentially marginalised communities are portrayed in a non-discriminatory and non-damaging manner. For me, this is crucial in building trust with my clients: trust that I have total respect and admiration for their work, the characters they create, and the communities they portray.
I am an associate member of the Institute of Professional Editors Limited (Queensland branch). R. A. Wright Editing is also registered with the Australian Business Register, ABN: 66 337 549 218. For details of editing services, pricing, current projects and more, follow the links up top or send through an enquiry using the “contact” page.
